PJ Night - May, June, August

Can you do sewing dinner, laughter and dessert? YES! In this fun relaxed class you work on your own project with Laura and the gang. Wear your slippers and sew until bedtime!

Staycation with Laura - July

Singer Featherweight Maintenance Class - SEPTEMBER
Instructor: Dave Trebotich
Need to learn to maintain your Featherweight? Thinking about buying a Featherweight and have questions? This is the class for you!
Dave Trebotich and his family of Twice Nice Shoppe have over 40 years of experience in vintage sewing machine restorations, sales, service, parts, and maintenance/repair classes. Singer Featherweights are their favorite.
In this three hour class you will learn how to inspect, adjust, and lubricate your machine. You will learn how to handle thread jams, and learn about attachment parts that are available for your model. You will also have an opportunity to purchase direct from Twice Nice Shoppe any replacement parts and accessories you feel you must have.

African Queen Doll Class - August
Instructor: Gina Chang
This elegant beauty is actually pretty easy to make. She is a great doll to make for learning the secret techniques for making heads, painting faces and stuffing.
This doll designed by Julie McCullough has a painted face and can be dressed in cotton African or Aboriginal prints, silks, or thrift store bargains! Embellish her with beads, buttons, flowers, or small accessories. Watch her personality develop as you build her!

Exuberant Appliqué - Hearts and Wreaths

Step into Alethea Ballard's world of exuberant appliqué wall art. Create a gorgeous, sweet, or silly heart or wreath in this exciting workshop class. Start using raw edge appliqués to create unique, dymanic, dimensional collages. The class is perfect for making a conversation piece for your house, a fabulous holiday decoration, or that perfect gift. Follow up with Claudia Comay's free motion quilting workshop the following week to get your piece completed in a jiffy!

Free Motion Machine Quilting

Instructor: Claudia Comay
Appropriate for the person with little or no experience or wanting a refresher course on the basics of free-motion quilting. In this class, we will demystify the quilting process
as we break down each step, discussing batting types, threads, basting and sewing machine feet. You will practice using a quilting foot.
Once you learn the technique all it needs is practice! This is a great class for finishing your Exuberant Appliqué Hearts and Wreaths!

Tuffet Workshop - Class Date is TBD

Jill has taught this popular class twice already at our shop and every single tuffet has turned out stunningly beautiful! Everyone says it's a fun and rewarding class! You will learn to make the cover in the first class, then you'll have homework to finish your cover and in the second class you will put everything together and go home with a completed tuffet.
Level: Intermediate (Min 6/Max 8)
