Remember: When you sign-up for a class you will receive 10% discount on ALL your purchases from the time you register until the last day of your class (excluding Drop-in classes and Open Studio time). So sign-up early!

PJ Night - July, August

Instructor: Laura Nownes

Can you do sewing dinner, laughter and dessert? YES! In this fun relaxed class you work on your own project with Laura and the gang. Wear your slippers and sew until bedtime!

Level: All (Min 6/Max 9)

When:  2 Different Sessions (Sign-up for 1, 2 or both!).
              Session 1: Friday July 13, 5:30pm-11pm
              Session 2: Friday August 24, 5:30pm-11pm

Staycation with Laura - September

Relax, sew, start a new project, finish a gift, have lunch, dessert, drinks, fun, friends... and fabric bliss. What could be better than a quilting weekend at Wooden Gate Quilts with Laura Nownes? Sew, eat, leave everything overnight, sleep in your own bed, comeback refreshed and ready to sew again! Don't have a work in progress? Laura will have fun project options.

Singer Featherweight Maintenance Class - August

 

Instructor: Dave Trebotich

Need to learn to maintain your Featherweight? Thinking about buying a Featherweight and have questions? This is the class for you!

Dave Trebotich and his family of Twice Nice Shoppe have over 40 years of experience in vintage sewing machine restorations, sales, service, parts, and maintenance/repair classes. Singer Featherweights are their favorite.

In this three hour class you will learn how to inspect, adjust, and lubricate your machine. You will learn how to handle thread jams, and learn about attachment parts that are available for your model. You will also have an opportunity to purchase direct from Twice Nice Shoppe any replacement parts and accessories you feel you must have.

This fun bag class is being taught by the pattern designer herself, Betsy LaHonta. Hear her tips and tricks for working with Kraft-Tex and learn her techniques for fabulous bag making!

Layered Landscape (Golden Gate) - October

Instructor: Cyndy Rymer

Making a layered landscape is like putting a jigsaw puzzle together, only a whole lot more fun. Promise! Cyndy is in the process of designing a new Golden Gate Landscape Quilt, we will post a photo as soon as Cyndy is ready to share it. In the meantime you can reserve your spot in her class where the technique is similar for making all of her landscape patterns (Mt. Diablo, Emerald Bay Lake Tahoe, Sonoma Coast, Lombard Street, and this Golden Gate beauty) Learn how to choose fabrics, make your foundation, cut your pieces and finish your quilt in this three day studio class.
