Art Collage Workshop - November, December
Instructor: Annalisa Jose
Art collage is a process that supports playful and intuitive expression through color and texture. We will begin the class with a short meditation to quiet the busy mind. In this workshop we will paint color wheels, play with oil pastels, craft paper and recycled materials. We will also learn how to use Mod Podge as a glue and sealant. Students will leave with a personalized art journal and a completed color wheel. Students are welcome to bring photos or purchase fabric from the shop.
Annalisa Jose is a mixed media artist from Walnut Creek, Ca. She creates abstract art through a process of layering color and texture with acrylics, fabric and paper. Annalisa has completed the Art Cloth Mastery Program and graduated from Mills College with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She also creates original wearable art through a low-immersion dye process. This process requires less water than most dye-immersion practices, creating unique patterns in the dye container that appear on the fabric/garment. Find her on Instagram, artbyannalisa.
