Quilting Basics - Design a Quilt Workshop with Laurelyn Gunn

Class Date: Monday, October 14

Time: 4pm - 8pm

Do you have blocks laying around from a class ( Half Square Triangle Class), or that someone has "gifted" you and you don't know what to do with them?  Bring them to this Quilting Basic Workshop - "Design a Quilt Top". At this workshop we will get them from unfinished objects into something beautiful. Laurelyn will cover the following:

  • Step 1 - How do you choose a layout that works?

  • Step 2 - What are the rules of sashings?

  • Step 3 - Borders - when and why do I need an inner or outer border?

  • Step 4 - Tricks and Tools that will send you on your way to a completed table runner or quilt top.

NOTE:This class is designed to help you complete a table runner, baby blanket, or a throw size quilt top during this session. Projects larger than a throw size quilt need to be approved by Laurelyn prior to this class session.
