Thank you for all your efforts in making masks, PPE, and using your stash to help keep friends, family and our frontline workers safe.
We applaud each of you in keeping our doors open through your support of online ordering and calling to place your orders.
As the State moves into Phasing the reopening of businesses, we are following these details closely and will be adjusting our business to keep our staff and you safe and healthy. Knowing this, we hope that you will understand that our tiny shop will be greatly impacted - the immediate change happens with classes and drop-ins. With the classroom being the heart of our community, we all realize that social distancing can not be adhered to - so we are canceling IN SHOP classes through August. In the coming weeks, I hope to have met with all instructors to make plans for possibly holding classes through the use of Zoom. Most of the drop-ins have been meeting via Zoom these past weeks and most of you are getting very savvy in the technology. If you were registered in classes that have been postponed, your class fees have been converted to store credit. Please contact me if you would like other arrangements.
As we have been granted "essential business" status that means more guidelines we need to follow. In the past month we have been able to expand our open hours and "benchside" pick-up. Bench-side Pick-up is available ONLY on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays between the hours of 1:30pm-3pm. Bench-side pick up means that you are picking up orders already placed.
As a new service - Tuesday & Thursday are WGQ Consultation days. If you would like to have help with a work in progress, start a new project, or just need to ask a question -- this is the vehicle to do those things. Consultation appointments can be arranged by emailing Debi at email@example.com. The appointments will be no longer than 30 minutes and will be scheduled between the hours of 12pm-3pm. Your consultation will be held with a staff member who is at the shop over Zoom.
A few other quilt shops are allowing shoppers into their shops. We understand that you want to come back in and "pet" fabrics like we did before COVID-19, however, we are not ready for that yet. Please help me keep you, my staff and our families safe by being patient and supporting us through our online shop.
Feel free to contact me directly via email firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone/text (925)785-3878.
Stay Healthy! We miss you all - and like you are anxious to have this pandemic subside. However, in order to have that happen we need to mask up, shelter in place, and finish those UFO's! We will have a "Quarantine Quilt Show" date TBD - to show off all our finished projects!
