After five and a half wonderful years of owning and operating Wooden Gate Quilts, Gene and I have decided to retire. This decision was not easy, but it is time for us to embark on a new chapter in our lives.

In light of this, we are also announcing that Wooden Gate Quilts is now for sale. We are hopeful that a passionate new owner will take over and continue to serve our amazing community with the same dedication and love that we have poured into this shop.

Gene and I want to express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support over the years. From the day we purchased the shop, this community has supported us through the remodel, Covid, and moving into our current location. The best of memories have been made laughing around the cut table, solving “quilting math” for you, and ensuring that the best instructors were available for expanding your knowledge. Our last day under our ownership will be October 26, 2024, but we are confident that the shop will continue to thrive. Until then, it is business as usual, with new fabrics arriving, classes being held and our annual Warehouse Sale in November.
